Houston Birth House
We are a group of licensed midwives providing care to families in the Houston area since 2018. We believe that pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding are natural, normal functions of the female body.We believe that attending to a person's emotions and spirit is also an essential part of midwifery care. Integrating birth into the whole family's life and also empowers the family and strengthens their bonds.
Birthing
The mother and baby are free to follow their biological instincts. Giving options for families provides the best care during your childbirth.
In our center we offer water birth - the tub is available for labor and birth.
Home births are the best option we offer for families that decide to give labor and birth in the comfort of your home.
Delayed cord clamping and breastfeeding support are a part of our post-birth midwifery care.
Ultrasound and Lab Testing
Lab testing in our location is available to perform genetic testing, gender test, pregnancy panels, urine test and more.
Ultrasound to follow the pregnancy evolution.
Some of or clients choose to have most of the available lab test and ultrasounds, while others prefer minimal screening.
Midwifery
We provide comprehensive prenatal, labor and birth, and postpartum care, and well woman care before and beyond pregnancy and childbirth. Each of our clients is a unique individual with unique needs.
We respect the principles of informed consent and informed refusal. Our task is to provide education and counseling to help each family make the best decisions for themselves and their baby.
Post-Partum
Postpartum Package is available for also for families who are planning a hospital birth. During Postpartum we offer 6 weeks of care that allows mother and babies to receive the same quality postpartum care that is essential to the health and well being of the famiy.
